The ideal candidate will provide administrative, event, and coordination support to the India team, while also driving ENZ’s social media engagement on local channels in India. This role is based at the New Zealand High Commission in New Delhi, and the candidate will report to the Director of Engagement for East Asia and India.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a LinkedIn content calendar to plan and schedule posts, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of information to the target audience
  • Coordinate with local social media platforms, including ENZ socials, NZHC socials, and other influential networks
  • Collaborate with vendors to design and produce promotional materials that align with ENZ’s brand guidelines, ensuring approval from the Brand Team
  • Work with the India team, sector and local PR agency to identify and promote content across various platforms, coordinating with relevant stakeholders
  • Support the creation of content for the quarterly newsletter and other promotional materials
  • Assist in planning and executing events such as seminars, workshops, information sessions, external meetings, alumni events, and networking receptions. This includes coordinating with the High Commission MFAT team for in house events
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the team, including managing correspondence, maintaining databases, and preparing reports as needed
  • Liaising with finance and co-ordinating appropriate financial approval or signoff for invoices and coding within agreed timeframes


Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years’ work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Effective time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with proven accuracy
  • Ability to be flexible, proactive, and multi-task
  • Highly proficient at MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to develop and manage social media content
  • Strive to be confident, competent, and comfortable to use Te Reo Māori and collectively helping to champion Te Reo
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • A ‘can do’ attitude, self-motivated and the ability to work independently
  • A demonstrated commitment to the provision of quality services and meeting customer needs
