DescriptionPosition: Plant Finance & Accounts HeadDesignation: Deputy Manager - Senior ManagerFunction: Finance & Accounts Place: Jagiroad, AssamCredentials: Chartered AccountantResponsibilities:Overall responsibility for smooth running of day-to-day F&A activities at Unit level for uninterrupted business operationsAnalyse MIS related to Variable cost, Fixed Cost and Capex to highlight business points to improve unit profitabilityEnsuring effective budgetary control mechanism on department-wise costs at Unit levelResponsible for proper implementation of strategic plans at Unit level in line with evolving financial strategies devised the by managementResponsible for general books of accounts for the Unit, including treasury and taxation related activitiesResponsible for timely closure of books of accounts as per defined timelinesResponsible for strict adherence to F&A policies, procedures and SOP's at Unit level, and ensuring proper documentation for any kind of deviationsResponsible for smooth and effective conduct of periodic audits (Internal / External / Statutory) and ensure timely resolutions of any observation shared by Audit TeamsResponsible for accurate and timely circulation of all MIS Reports (Critical, Regular & Ad -Hoc) for Unit as per business requirementProvide timely and necessary support to RO & HO Teams for any financial data & other requirements for the Unit, including reporting of monthly / quarterly / annual unit financialsStudy & Analyze Unit level production, operation and expenditure data, and share insight-focused outputs to help the management devise strategies for necessary control measuresEnsure smooth coordination with other departments at the Plant, and address any F&A related support / input / issuesAsset monitoring at Unit level, including Capex ROI Computations, WBS Creation etc.Review and monitor performance of team members and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs
