Financial Operations AssistantThe role of Financial Operations Assistant plays a crucial part in supporting the day-to-day accounting functions. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with organizational and statutory requirements, and facilitating effective communication with stakeholders.Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system to ensure seamless data entry and minimize errors.Maintain general ledgers and update journal entries to guarantee accurate financial reporting and timely completion of tasks.Key Requirements:Support invoice processing, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements by streamlining payment processes and enhancing operational efficiency.Follow up with customers for outstanding payments to optimize cash flow management and reduce potential losses.Verify and reconcile vendor and customer statements to guarantee accuracy and prevent discrepancies.Operational Responsibilities:1. Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system to ensure seamless data entry and minimize errors.2. Maintain general ledgers and update journal entries to guarantee accurate financial reporting and timely completion of tasks.3. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to provide stakeholders with valuable insights and facilitate informed decision-making.2. Accounts Payable & Receivable1. Support invoice processing, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements by streamlining payment processes and enhancing operational efficiency.2. Follow up with customers for outstanding payments to optimize cash flow management and reduce potential losses.3. Verify and reconcile vendor and customer statements to guarantee accuracy and prevent discrepancies.Bank & Cash Management1. Perform daily bank reconciliations to identify any discrepancies or errors in the accounts.2. Maintain petty cash and support cash flow tracking to ensure adequate funds are available for operations.3. Coordinate with banks for documentation or query resolutions to resolve any issues promptly.4. Audit & Compliance1. Assist in internal and external audit preparations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.2. Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records to maintain transparency and facilitate audits.3. Adhere to local taxation and accounting regulations to avoid penalties and ensure continuous operation.5. Reporting & Analysis1. Prepare basic MIS reports as required to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate information.2. Support budgeting and variance analysis activities to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational efficiency.3. Provide data for management review to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
