Job SummaryAs a cybersecurity expert, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating security threats to our systems. You will be responsible for reviewing findings from scanning tools, validating severity and exploitability, and prioritizing vulnerabilities for remediation.Key ResponsibilitiesTriage vulnerabilities: Review scan results, validate severity and exploitability, and prioritize overdue medium vulnerabilities.Handle false positives: Document justification and submit exception requests via approved workflows.Coordinate remediation: Create project tickets, include vulnerability alert details, and recommend remediation steps.Maintain records and provide updates: Accurately record triage decisions, provide weekly progress reports, and ensure compliance with Risk Management Standards.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong understanding of application security principles and vulnerability types.Experience developing web applications, preferably in PHP / MySQL environment.Hands-on experience with Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and infrastructure scanning tools.Familiarity with Jira and GitHub workflows for issue tracking and exception handling.Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.We're looking for a skilled professional who can apply their knowledge and expertise to protect our systems and data.
