Responsibilities:
The Chapter Manager ensures the Chapter achieves its main missions: ensuring knowledge.
sharing, fostering Chapter members development and building up long term expertise strategy
in sync with Tribe's needs. He/She has leadership skills providing vision and guidance to his/her
chapter. He/She ensures that there is an agreed tribe's consensus on the allocation of the capacity
within the FT for the delivery of items from the Chapter's Backlog. He/She maintains own
expertise through operational activity.
The Chapter Manager shares the above responsibilities and is also the line manager for
people within a chapter (he/she takes care of HR administrative aspects). He/She maintains
own expertise, if possible, through an operational activity depending on the context (eg: Chapter
size)
Activities:
1. Build Chapter's vision and strategy
2. Understand the Chapter's long-term vision
3. Drive Vision building activities and ensure that the chapter's vision is in line to the
organization global vision
4. Contribute to building value proposal with expected benefits for chapter in line with
organization global vision
5. Contribute to build an implementation strategy for chapter's backlog
6. Propose the best industry practices for the chapter backlog and ensure the implementation
7. Ensure the industry best practices are shared across the Agile Unit and within Guilds Help
Chapter on achieving its objectives
8. Responsible for removal of any blockers and impediments in the chapter backlog execution
9. Accountable for the proper synchronization of common deliverables across FTs for Chapter
backlog
10. Participate at BL level initiatives & drive organizational strategies related to the chapter
11. Build a link between the various feature teams and the team members of the chapter and
help delivery of the features by building the necessary capabilities.
12. Mobilize and leverage skills and resources between feature teams to help deliver features.
13. Build a strong bond between the Agile Master, PO and Chapter manager to help assess
the performance of team members during team feedback sessions like ACR Fosters skills
development and knowledge sharing.
14. Upskill the chapter members by appropriate training or coaching & building the strategy for
upskilling.
15. Ensure and encourage the chapter members to take initiative to work collectively to
achieve the chapter goals.
16. Contribute or drive building strategy for upskilling of the tribe or Agile Unit in cooperation
with the organizational upskilling team.
17. Perform appraisal for the chapter members in coordination with the PO, AM, FT Lead and
League leaders.
18. Perform administrative tasks for the chapter members such as leave approval, training
approval etc.
19. Perform activities to develop people and career orientation.
20. Participate in planning and driving recruitments for the Tribe.
21. Allocate appropriate resources to the FT in sync with the AM identifying needed skills and
considering their evolution

Profile Required:
Prior proven experience in people management
Proven strong technical and domain expertise.
Strong believer and practitioner of growth mindset.
Excellent leadership, analytical and influencing skills.
Demonstrated excellent coach and mentoring skills.
8 to 12 years of software development experience in Java full stack
Must have experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Spring Security, Angular, APIs (REST)
Good knowledge in CI CD pipeline GIT - Maven - Jenkins - XL deploy
Exposure to Unix and windows OS, Eclipse/IntelliJ
Knowledge on production monitoring tools, production practices
Good to have : Azure, Apache Spark, Python, Spring clou
