Position Summary
To manage and lead a team of people in allocating workload and managing the day to day operations in the workshop. It requires the job holder to co-ordinate resources and liaise with internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time and to a quality standard.
Key Responsibilities & Authorities Perform other duties as assigned by management and/or Supervisor. General responsibilities Comply always and fully with LIN SCAN HSE requirementsBe quality conscious (dynamic approach towards quality improvement and aim at getting things right first time)Maintain confidentiality, integrity and safeguard LIN SCAN trade secretsRespect and support fellow employees at all timesRespond to changes positively (technical advancements as well as organizational adaptations)Act in such a manner that LIN SCAN’s reputation is highly respected Be results-oriented; alert others timely when a task may not produce the required result for LIN SCAN’s final productFollow LIN SCAN’s Process Flow Charts and interact with other departments when requiredIdentify training requirements Competency Requirements : Creates and encourages two-way communication opportunities; demonstrates and promotes positive work relationships. : Effectively builds and maintains partnerships with staff at all levels across the company. Contributes to team and company success. Maintains flexibility and reacts to change appropriately. : The individual fully observe safety and security IT procedures and uses equipment and materials properly. : The individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans. Skills/Experience Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology, Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering Background OR Production Engineer. Minimum of 7 years’ experience as Assistant workshop manager / Production Manager.Advance GMP training and implementation skillsStrong command of English in addition to communication skillsMust be flexible with work hours & timingsLeader ship skills. KPIs:Budget adherenceNo. Of rejected outgoing tools/spares (not higher than 3%)No of rejected incoming spares/tools (not higher than 3%)Human /environmental accidents in workshopAccomplishment of tasks in timeKPI monitoring frequency: once Monthly Location : Greater Noida, Ecotech 12
