RPA Project Manager Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled project manager to lead the delivery of robotic process automation (RPA) projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating the mobilisation, definition, development, and deployment phases of these projects.The ideal candidate will have excellent planning, problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills, as well as a strong understanding of IT delivery methodologies (ITIL, Agile, Lean, etc.). Prior experience in leading similar projects in robotics process automation is highly desirable.Serve as principal point-of-contact for clients and their teams.Lead several concurrent projects involving consultants, developers, and clients.Establish the Project Management Plan, tracking milestones, and coordinating meetings with client stakeholders aligned with the delivery operating model.Understand business and technical requirements to effectively coordinate/document process definition, solution design, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities with client stakeholders.Facilitate resource planning activities, including assignment, onboarding, equipment provisioning, and user access to target applications.Coordinate the development, review, and submission of RPA milestone deliverables.Mitigate risks identified by the Delivery Manager to help avoid development, testing, or deployment roadblocks.Provide regular weekly status updates, including risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, defects, and change requests logs to clients and Program Managers.Identify, catalogue, and archive reusable code assets and coordinate knowledge-sharing sessions between internal teams.RequirementsBachelor's Degree focused on Information Technology or Information Management or equivalent education and experience.Minimum 2 years of project management experience.Excellent planning, problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.Strong understanding of IT delivery methodologies (ITIL, Agile, Lean, etc).Prior experience in leading similar projects in robotics process automation.Leadership skills to inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence.Understanding of the drivers of value, including sizing and prioritising large-scale initiatives across businesses and functions.Bonus points for prior work with OCR technologies.Desired CharacteristicsSelf-motivated and able to take the initiative with minimum need for supervision.Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.Highly motivated, organised, and methodical, but able to handle change in stride.Analytical and proven problem-solving skills.High emotional IQ.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Demonstrated willingness to dive into details to guide projects to completion.Team orientation rather than individual contributor.Insatiable work ethic.BenefitsHiring now for immediate start.Competitive pay determined by level and experience.Healthcare benefits.Relocation support.Vacation and holiday entitlements.
