Job responsibilities:

  • Work with Senior Manager – Books and multiple Deputy Managers and Assistant Managers in managing the publishing plan for the department
  • Manage the products and publishing portfolio for the respective subject
  • Responsible for product strategy for the respective subject in response to market needs
  • Work with Senior Manager – Books and effectively deliver the best quality print and/or digital product(s) within the agreed timeline
  • Design and deliver great user experiences: Manage, monitor, and improve the user experience for digital content and product(s).
  • Collaborate and work with DGM – Assessments and Curriculum Support and AGM – School Support to support the schools with required training, additional support material, and assessments for the respective subjects.
  • Plan, develop, prioritize, implement, and oversee the processes ensuring that products/solutions are published/released within set deadlines, as per scope, according to budget and are of the highest quality


Key Performance Indicators :

  • Publishing work delivered within agreed timelines
  • More than 90% of subject-based training was conducted as per the plan
  • More than 90% of participants report the highest rating in the feedback form
  • Errors in less than 5% of pages of a book, with zero major conceptual or factual error
  • The Jaipuria online learning platform (JLearn) has launched in April 2023


Requirements:

  • Desirable to have a master's degree in the respective subject.
  • Mix of language proficiency (verbal and written), deep pedagogical understanding, subject specialization, and business acumen.
  • 7+ years of work experience; of which at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Desirable to have experience in Instructional Design.
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders such as school promoters, school principals, authors, illustrators, trainers, teachers, and other solution providers.
  • Organised and process-driven, and able to work across timelines and cross-functional teams.
  • Team / Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to lead, inspire collaboration, and empower the team.
  • Have strong project management skills.
