Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Project Manager at FREEZECO PRIVATE LIMITED in Bhubaneswar minimum 10 years . The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for expediting project activities, managing inspections, coordinating logistics, and overseeing project management tasks daily.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Planning:
  • Develop detailed designs and plans for HVAC(VRV And Chiller ) And FIRE
  • Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate HVAC(VRV And Chiller ) And FIRE systems into building designs.
  • Perform load calculations and select appropriate equipment and systems.
  • Kitchen Ventilation, Basement Ventilation And Clean Room Design
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee the installation of HVAC(VRV And Chiller ) And FIRE systems to ensure they meet design specifications and standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all HVAC(VRV And Chiller ) And FIRE systems comply with local and national codes and regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to verify system performance and safety.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Develop maintenance schedules and procedures for HVAC(VRV And Chiller ) And FIRE
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system malfunctions or issues.
  • Recommend and oversee repairs or system upgrades as needed.Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and documentation for all HVAC(VRV And Chiller ) And FIRE system
  • Maintain accurate records of design changes, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines, architects, and construction teams.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical input and recommendations.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or specialized certifications can be advantageous.
  • Experience: Typically 8 plus years of experience in MEP engineering, including experience in project management and system design..

Skills:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC software). Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills and experience in managing projects from conception to completion.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design and implementation.

Work Environment:

  • MEP Engineers typically work in office settings, but may also spend time on construction sites.
  • The role may require occasional travel to project sites and meeting locations.
  • The job may involve working with construction teams, stakeholders, and clients in various settings.
