Job Title:Information Security ManagerOverview of the Role:This is a critical position that oversees the overall security posture of the organization, ensuring that information assets are adequately protected.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in risk management, information security and IT jobs with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective security protocols.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the business.Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to inform security strategy and recommendations.Provide guidance and support to employees on security best practices and incident response procedures.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need:A degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, as well as relevant certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.At least 4-6 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a high level of personal integrity.Knowledge of common information security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, SSAE 18 SOC2, Privacy Framework – ISO27701, and NIST.Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, driving innovation and results through strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.Why You'll Love This Job:You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the organization's security posture and contribute to its growth and success.
