Our first brand, Aramya, has achieved 10X growth in recent months, driven by in-house manufacturing and deep customer insights. We’re excited to accelerate this growth further and launch new brands, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our founding team and shape the future of DSLR.
Key Responsibilities:
This opportunity involves establishing the Printing Factory and running the end to end operations in Jaipur. Some of the day to day tasks would be-
- To carry out any greige dyeing and printing tasks as per the production schedule.
- Track production and maintain necessary production reports.
- Plan the production queue and necessary raw materials & staffing.
- Identify ways and set processes to make printing easier and more efficient.
- Maintain the cost of the designs and the Unit with necessary controls on the wastage.
- Identify the process for each job, document and staff relevant talent to assign the work.
- Train and manage the printing team. Handle staff issues, security & administration of Unit.
- Prepare data and analysis on the business unit across relevant metrics to assess the productivity and performance of the Unit.
- Coordination with external vendors for greige procurement, screen preparation and pre/post fabric treatment.
An ideal candidate must have:
- An understanding of the fabric dyeing and screen printing process.
- A minimum experience of 5 years in leading a Fabric Printing Unit, particularly a flat belt set-up.
- Sound knowledge of all functions, mechanics, electronics and behaviour of the Flat Belt, Table and Jigars deployed in a fabric printing & dyeing unit.
- Understanding of Pre and Post-treatments involved in fabric printing units.
- Understanding of color preparation (prosion, pigment, discharge, gold, khadi, etc) involved during printing & dyeing processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Hunger for learning and growth, and therefore, wants to join an early-stage startup.
