About the PositionAs a seasoned Video Editor, you will play a pivotal role in crafting captivating video content to drive marketing initiatives forward.Key Responsibilities: Video Production: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and implement video strategies aligned with overall marketing goals. Capture and edit high-quality video footage for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and more. Proficiency in videography and on-site video production is essential. Maintain consistency in video content style, tone, and messaging across all platforms.Editing and Post-Production: Expertly edit and assemble raw footage, ensuring seamless transitions, clean audio, and compelling visuals. Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects as needed to elevate video content. Optimize video content for diverse platforms and devices, considering aspect ratios, resolutions, and file formats. Add music, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance the viewer experience.Content Management: Organize and maintain a comprehensive library of video assets, facilitating easy access and efficient retrieval. Collaborate with team members to manage video files, version control, and project timelines.Quality Assurance: Thoroughly review and proof video content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with branding guidelines. Make necessary revisions and improvements based on stakeholder feedback.Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in video editing software to incorporate innovative techniques into video production.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in film production, digital media, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven track record as a video editor, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Ability to work effectively in graphic design tools like Illustrator and Photoshop. Knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects). Strong storytelling and visual storytelling skills. Excellent attention to detail and an eye for design aesthetics. Understanding of marketing principles and ability to convey marketing messages through video. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience with color correction and color grading. Knowledge of audio editing and sound design. Familiarity with video SEO best practices. Basic knowledge of graphic design, 3D modeling, and animation (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, etc.).
