Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement management within the real estate or construction industry. The Senior Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services required for our projects.

Strategic Procurement Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement plan aligned with the hotel’s pre-opening schedule.
Identify all necessary goods and services required for the pre-opening, including FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), OS&E (Operating Supplies and Equipment), and other operational needs.
Establish procurement timelines to ensure all items are delivered and installed in line with the project timeline.
Supplier Sourcing and Negotiation:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, vendors, and contractors who specialize in the hotel industry.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
Establish long-term relationships with key suppliers to support the hotel’s ongoing operational needs.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the procurement budget for the pre-opening phase, ensuring all purchases align with the financial plan.
Monitor and control costs to avoid budget overruns.
Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management on procurement expenditures.
Project Coordination:
Work closely with the project management team, architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to ensure procurement activities are coordinated with the overall project timeline.
Oversee the delivery, inspection, and installation of all procured items, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
Address any issues or delays in procurement that may impact the project timeline.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with local regulations, hotel standards, and company policies.
Manage risks related to procurement, such as supply chain disruptions, cost fluctuations, and quality control issues.
Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure transparency and accountability.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to support the hotel’s needs.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
Stakeholder Communication:
Regularly communicate with senior management and other departments to provide updates on procurement progress and challenges.
Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to ensure all procurement contracts are compliant and financially viable.
Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and vendors during the pre-opening phase.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry. Significant experience in hotel pre-opening projects is required.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
