About the Role: 2Cents Capital is seeking a highly skilled and creative Graphic Designer Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in crafting visually compelling content, designing engaging materials for both digital and print platforms, and ensuring consistency in branding across all mediums. If you have a passion for design, creativity, and the evolving financial technology space, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of digital finance through innovative visual storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop visually appealing designs.
- Create a wide range of materials such as brochures, banners, social media graphics, presentations, and more.
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across all design projects.
- Prepare rough drafts and present creative ideas for feedback and approval.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Work with printers, vendors, or other external resources as needed to ensure quality production of printed materials.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Graphics Designer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in design software such as Canva and Prezi (mandatory) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other tools like Figma and Sketch (preferred).
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creative and professional design work.
- Understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design principles.
- Knowledge of basic motion design (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. Candidates currently pursuing graduation can also apply.
- Experience in creating designs for various platforms (social media, print, digital).
- Familiarity with photography, video editing, or animation tools is a plus.
