Python Open Telemetry Developer

We are looking for a skilled Python Open Telemetry Developer to design implement and maintain telemetry solutions within a fast-paced technology environment The role is based in Chennai and focuses on developing high-quality monitoring systems for seamless application performance Support development teams with OpenTelemetry instrumentation of application code both zero-code and manual approaches Assist in configuring observability analytical backends such as Datadog Dynatrace or Grafana Guide teams in the instrumentation of infrastructure for observability Support the integration of observability backends DataDog Dynatrace Grafana etc with external systems such as Jira ServiceNow PagerDuty and similar platforms Assist teams in defining Service Level Indicators SLIs and configuring Service Level Objectives SLOs Collaborate with the Application Observability Platform team to maintain the 24 7 365 availability and reliability of the OpenTelemetry infrastructure Java Developer and Devops experience in Kubernetes DockerExperience in Grafana Dynatrace Datadog Monitoring Tools A successful Python Open Telemetry Developer should have Strong proficiency in OpenTelemetry including hands-on experience with OTLP protocol OpenTelemetry Semantic Conventions OpenTelemetry Collector and OpenTelemetry Java Agent Practical ability to instrument Java code using the OpenTelemetry API and OpenTelemetry Java SDK Basic understanding of AWS services and their role in modern application deployment Basic Linux knowledge including common commands and day-to-day troubleshooting At least 7 year of development experience in Java Python experience is also acceptable Hands-on experience working with observability analytical backends such as DataDog Dynatrace or Grafana Good years of experience working with container technologies e g Docker Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and other stakeholders Basic understanding of software architecture principles including the differences between monolithic and microservices architectures The hiring company is a medium-sized organisation MNC GCC in the Logistics industry specialising in providing cutting-edge technology services It has a strong reputation for delivering innovative solutions and fostering a structured work environment A competitive salary package Comprehensive holiday leave and benefits package An opportunity to work in the thriving Shipping and Logistics industry Exposure to advanced tools and methodologies in the field of telemetry development A collaborative and structured work environment in Chennai If you are a motivated Python Open Telemetry Developer looking to take the next step in your career we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity
