Job Description Description We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team in India. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment and a passion for delivering exceptional cuisine. The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Responsibilities - Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and food preparation. - Supervise kitchen staff and ensure high standards of food quality and presentation. - Create and develop new recipes while ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. - Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills. - Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus and specials for events and daily service. - Assist in cost control and budgeting for kitchen operations. Skills and Qualifications - 5-8 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a sous chef role. - Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. - Creativity and passion for culinary arts. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
