Summary Assistant Engineer -Quality is responsible for establishing an efficient and continually improving quality systems as per AS 9100-D and internal GE QMS norms Own drive key Quality deliverables in the projects including CMM Measurement Manual Inspection analysis certifying aviation hardware per internal quality inspection requirements Site Overview Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility MMF in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components supporting not only India s defence and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains Our relationships with Indian suppliers combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach continue to shape India s aerospace ecosystem Roles Responsibilities Responsible to carry out CMM Programming for machining components as per internal Customer Provided drawings MOS and Customer specific QMS requirements for machined components Work closely with manufacturing production Quality teams to develop CMM Programs As per Machining processes for various Machining operations Candidate should have in depth understanding of ASME Y14 5 and various GD T Features its application in Aerospace industry during CMM Programming Willingness to work get qualified to Cross functional quality cells Such as FPI FI FAI DSQR along with working with HPT teams for daily analysis of yield improvement EHS process improvisation projects Contribute to continual improvement through audit programs assessment of various non-conformances and driving corrective actions identified through Root Cause Analysis Understanding of site quality QMS procedures policies Understanding of process yield improvement tools like RCA KAIZENS 7 QC tools PFMEA SPC MSA etc Providing training and support to shop operations design and manufacturing to assure effective Quality Assurance Maintaining awareness of the latest inspection techniques processes and their beneficial and limiting aspects for optimum application Actively contributing to non-conformance event management analysis etc The Ideal Candidate Candidates with an experience in CMM programming of Zeiss ACCURA CONTURA DURAMAX etc Used Calypso Software latest version Required Qualifications Candidates should have hands on 4-8 Years experience in CMM programming of Zeiss ACCURA CONTURA DURAMAX etc Used Calypso Software latest version Diploma in Mechanical Automobile Production Candidate should have in depth understanding of ASME Y14 5 and various GD T Preferred Qualifications Understanding of process yield improvement tools like RCA KAIZENS 7 QC tools PFMEA SPC MSA etc Whether we are manufacturing components for our engines driving innovation in fuel and noise reduction or unlocking new opportunities to grow and deliver more productivity our GE Aerospace teams are dedicated and making a global impact Join us and help move the aerospace industry forward Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided Yes
