Job Description - Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL programs across Oracle 10g, 11g, and 12c environments. - Create and manage database objects including tables, views, constraints, sequences, synonyms, and advanced PL/SQL modules. - Build complex PL/SQL objects such as stored procedures, functions, packages, collections, and triggers. - Implement PL/SQL features such as cursors, user-defined exceptions, autonomous transactions, bulk collect, forall, and SYS_REFCURSOR. - Perform SQL query tuning and PL/SQL performance optimization using Explain Plan and Oracle Hints. - Perform exception handling across different scope levels and ensure robust error-handling mechanisms. - Contribute to Agile/Scrum development processes including sprint planning and daily stand-ups. - Interact with clients for requirement scoping, effort estimation, and status reporting. - Work with Oracle client-server applications using tools such as SQL*Plus, TOAD, SQL Loader. - Execute basic Unix commands for database-related operational tasks. Required Skills - Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL development with Oracle 10g/11g/12c. - Hands-on experience creating complex database structures and PL/SQL program units. - Good understanding of performance tuning, Oracle Hints, Explain Plan, and database optimization. - Expertise in exception handling, triggers, and advanced PL/SQL features. - Familiarity with Oracle development tools: SQL*Plus, TOAD, SQL Loader. - Basic knowledge of Unix commands and Oracle Database concepts. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Strong interpersonal and client interaction skills.
