Responsibilities As a Chronicle SecOps Engineer at Zscaler, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our Google SecOps platform. You will be responsible for creating and enhancing case management, orchestration, and automation solutions to support incident response. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient management and resolution of security incidents. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Threat Researcher, you'll be responsible for: - Developing & Automating SecOps Solutions: Design, build, and customize Google SecOps solutions, implementing automated workflows, orchestration, and case management to meet specific SOC needs - Integrating Security Tools: Integrate third-party tools, such as threat intelligence feeds and other security platforms, into the SecOps environment to expand capabilities - Enhancing Incident Response: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including incident response, to streamline security processes and enable rapid, coordinated incident resolution - Maintaining Standards & Documentation: Ensure all solutions adhere to industry best practices and maintain comprehensive documentation for SecOps processes, workflows, and configurations What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications) - Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in developing case management, orchestration, and automation solutions using advanced SOAR solutions such as Google SecOps - Strong understanding of security operations and best practices - Proficiency in Python development preferably in orchestration or automation capacity - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to adapt to evolving security threats and technologies - Strong communication and collaboration skills What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field - Industry-recognized certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, or GCFA - Experience with cloud security platforms, including GCP and AWS At Zscaler, we are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve and the customers we work with.
