Job Description Role Purpose The Contract Reviewer is responsible for analyzing and evaluating contracts to ensure billing aligns with agreed terms and to prevent revenue leakage. This role involves proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks. Key Accountabilities - Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and legal documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. 2. Identify potential risks, ambiguities, or discrepancies in contract terms and conditions. 3. Collaborate with legal, finance, and business teams to clarify contract language and terms. 4. Maintain accurate records of contract revisions, approvals, and related documentation. 5. Monitor billing processes to ensure accuracy and prevent revenue leakage. 6. Assist in basic accounting activities related to contract billing and revenue tracking. 7. Identify and recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency. 8. Support compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to contracts and billing. 9. Support the SOX compliance team by providing timely backups and documentation of sample contracts as required. 10. Providing training to new resources. 11. Should be able to effectively address and resolve queries from both internal and external stakeholders. Key Skills & Experiences Education and Experience - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and 2-3 Years work-related experience. Technical Skills and Knowledge - Accounting Knowledge: Good Knowledge of Accounting Principles and concepts and the ability to apply them to the company's Accounting practices. - System Knowledge: Good knowledge of the relevant IHG systems like People soft, Essbase etc. Other Skills Communication - Possess good communication skills.
