Business Director (India) As our business continues to grow and reach new heights, we are looking for a Business Director to join us to help us with our next phase as we continue to develop our operations across APAC and beyond. You’ll work with our management team to own and manage the sales process, set up commercial targets, and build a solid pipeline of new business opportunities. You’ll have the trust and empowerment of the management team to move the needle. Role: - Drive new business strategies and nurture opportunities from new and warm leads. - Drive and own new business opportunities while expanding on existing markets and proactively increasing market share. - Work closely with the new business team to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals. - Implicitly understand the company’s USP to promote and cross-sell services to relevant target companies. - Work with cross-functional stakeholders in the planning and executing agency sales and marketing strategies to acquire new and develop existing commercial opportunities. - Measure all sales activity using various tools and software to evaluate the success, pivoting according to effectiveness in real-time. - Raise the agency's profile by effectively communicating our value proposition, services, and results throughout targeted channels. - Embrace client and market intelligence to hone tactics and targeting methods to improve conversion rates with the practical interpretation and application of data. - Develop compelling proposals and pitch materials - project managing pitch teams, proposal content development, case study development, and presenting the credentials. - Leading monthly business reviews, forecasting, priority setting, and other leadership engagements. - Overseeing budget planning and fiscal management processes (internally and externally) with a strong focus on driving results while building relationships. - Developing business goals and objectives that focus on growth and prosperity. You: - Minimum of 15+ years in the industry, 5+ years in a new business role in an advertising, creative, digital or marketing agency. - Driven by commercial targets and achieving success in a high-growth environment. - Relationships with senior decision-makers in technology, FMCG, financial services or relevant industries are essential. - Experience managing a full-funnel sales cycle is a must. - Experience within advertising agencies is a must. - Experience working in other APAC markets, and a global outlook is important. - Able to demonstrate leadership and decisiveness with limited oversight and easily navigate various levels, roles and personality types. - Strong communicator with demonstrated success in handling and communicating complex or sensitive business issues to senior management. - Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development through strong analytical and financial acumen with an ability to think “end-to-end”. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines simultaneously. - Proven experience with creating high-level presentations for a broad range of audiences. - A positive individual who can motivate and inspire. - High tolerance and appreciation towards ambiguity and change.
