Job Description Senior Manager Sales Training (FMP & Dineout) Role Purpose The Senior Manager Sales Training will lead the end-to-end design, delivery, and governance of sales capability programs for Food Marketplace (FMP) and Dineout. This role goes beyond program execution to own the capability roadmap, align directly with business leadership on growth priorities, and scale onboarding, bootcamps, and advanced capability interventions across regions. The role will also build a strong faculty of trainers, managers, and internal experts to ensure a sustainable sales learning ecosystem. Key Responsibilities - Capability Strategy & Roadmap - Define the sales capability plan for FMP & Dineout, aligned with revenue and restaurant experience goals. - Act as the primary L&D partner for senior sales leaders in FMP & Dineout. Anticipate future capability needs (new markets, product pivots, competition response). - Drive standardization of sales training frameworks across geographies while allowing for local adaptation. - Onboarding, Bootcamps & OJT - Oversee the design and delivery of structured Sales Bootcamps for all new hires across regions. - Institutionalize role-specific onboarding journeys (classroom, digital, simulation) with consistent time-to-productivity targets. - Govern the OJT playbook, ensuring all managers follow structured shadowing, field coaching, and milestone-based assessments. - Advanced Sales Capability & Continuous Learning - Curate and deliver advanced programs on consultative selling, negotiations, strategic partner management, and upselling. - Lead periodic sales capability assessments across cohorts to identify gaps and plug them through targeted interventions. - Drive sales readiness programs for new product launches, pricing models, and digital tools adoption. - Leverage AI-enabled tools to design adaptive learning pathways, create interactive sales simulations, and provide data-driven insights into sales performance. - Faculty Development & Ecosystem Building - Build and mentor a pool of internal faculty (sales leaders, SMEs) to deliver training at scale. - Run Train-the-Trainer and Breakout Mentor programs to ensure continuous coaching capacity within sales teams. - Partner with external vendors for specialized content while maintaining contextual relevance. - Measurement, Analytics & Impact - Define and track capability KPIs linked to business performance metrics - Create and own dashboards on learning adoption, time-to-productivity, and cohort-level skill uplift. - Present quarterly impact reviews to Sales Leadership, linking learning outcomes to business charters. Key Skills & Competencies - Proven expertise in facilitation, coaching, and faculty development for large-scale sales teams. - Strong design and content development capability, including playbooks, simulations, microlearning, and digital-first formats. - Ability to translate sales and business strategy into structured learning roadmaps. - Strong data orientation with experience linking learning interventions to revenue impact. - Excellent stakeholder management, storytelling, and influencing skills at senior leadership levels. - Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth business environments. Qualifications & Experience - Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, HR, or related fields. - 7-10 years of experience in Sales Training / Capability Building, with significant exposure to sales onboarding, bootcamps, and advanced capability development. - Prior sales leadership or sales enablement experience in F&B, hospitality, or consumer internet is strongly preferred. - Proven track record of building scalable, measurable, and high-impact learning programs. Location & Travel - Base Location: Bangalore - Travel: 710 days per month for regional training and field immersion
