MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFG’s global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific. About the Role: Position Title: KYC Analyst Corporate Title: Analyst Reporting to: Manager or Assistant Vice President or Vice President Location: Bangalore Job Profile: Position Detail: The MGS EMEA Centre of Excellence (CoE) team services all front office areas throughout EMEA across Bank and Securities with responsibility and effective oversight of circa 7,000 existing counterparts. Within CoE, the Efficiency Projects Team focus is on driving strategic solutions to improve process efficiency and overall process quality via automation initiatives. This role will support the existing business teams in developing new process tools & report automation efforts within wider GCIB such as Client Lifecycle Management (CLM)/Client KYC Group (CKG) Teams & beyond using excel VBA & power BI. Roles and Responsibilities: - Individual will be responsible to understand the given requirements and work with the team on the automation projects. - Work as part of a centralized team to produce, design, implement and support the developments of new dashboards or excel templates using VBA/Python/Power BI for process & reporting enhancement’s/improvements. - Work closely with business teams to understand the existing process and work on solutions to improve the overall process efficiency. - Support the day-to-day BAU process teams in creating automated reports for better control & visibility. - Proactive in identifying Data Quality Issues and driving both tactical and strategic data remediation (both for MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities) - Identifying opportunities for improving our end-to-end customer experience - Interact & communicate effectively at all levels and build strong working relationship on an ongoing basis with business and IT partners - Develop internal controls and metrics to continuously monitor trends and data quality; implement processes to detect, correct and prevent invalid data or errors - Drive decisions to ensure optimal solutions are based on both commercial and business requirements - Support continual deep dive and trend analyses of data to provide Senior Management with key insights - Support strategic projects to enhance the MI Reporting capability. Job Requirements: Candidate Profile: - Degree level education in relevant subject (e.G. finance, maths, physics etc.) (Beneficial) Work Experience Essential: - One or more of the following is essential: - Experience of working in a MI Team (preferably with prior Banking experience) with a good understanding of the importance of process automation & Data Quality. - Experience of working in end-to-end automation projects. - Exposure on creating dashboards using analytical tools. (Power BI/Tableau/Salesforce etc) - Experience in Front Office (1LoD) management environment working with a team of data analysts. - Experience within Corporate & Investment Banking, Capital Markets or Securities and exposure to related entities is essential.
