Job Title: BigCommerce Project Manager Location: Remote Contract: 6 months Job Description: We are looking for a BigCommerce Project Manager to lead and oversee e-commerce projects from conception to successful delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing BigCommerce-based projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes. If you have a passion for e-commerce platforms, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable plans — we’d love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end BigCommerce project lifecycle — from planning, execution, and delivery to post-launch support. - Collaborate with developers, designers, QA, and marketing teams to ensure seamless project execution. - Gather, analyze, and document project requirements in alignment with business goals. - Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely delivery. - Communicate project progress, risks, and challenges effectively to stakeholders. - Ensure proper integration of third-party apps, APIs, and tools within the BigCommerce ecosystem. - Conduct quality assurance checks before project go-live. - Work closely with clients to provide updates, address issues, and ensure satisfaction. - Coordinate deployment schedules, testing phases, and post-launch support. - Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to overall team efficiency. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in e-commerce (mandatory BigCommerce). - Strong understanding of BigCommerce platform capabilities, features, and integrations. - Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience working with development teams (familiarity with agile methodologies). - Ability to translate technical requirements into clear project deliverables. - Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana. - Solid understanding of e-commerce workflows — from catalog setup to checkout and fulfillment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
