The Sales Collection Executive is responsible for managing and following up on client payments, ensuring timely collection of outstanding dues, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role involves close coordination with the sales, accounts, and customer service teams to ensure smooth financial transactions and healthy cash flow for the organization.Job Summary:The Sales Collection Executive is responsible for overseeing client payment collections, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding dues, and maintaining accurate financial and transaction records. The role requires effective coordination with the sales, accounts, and customer service teams to support smooth financial operations and maintain a healthy cash flow for the organization.Key Responsibilities: Follow up with clients for pending payments through calls, emails, and visits (if required). Maintain updated records of all transactions, receipts, and outstanding balances. Coordinate with the sales team to verify invoice details, credit limits, and payment terms. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports for management review. Resolve customer queries or disputes related to billing and payments in a timely manner. Support the accounts department in reconciling payments and updating ledgers. Monitor overdue accounts and escalate chronic defaulters to management when necessary. Contribute to improving the company’s cash flow through efficient collection strategies. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar role. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/CRM software. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets.
