The Sports Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the sports function with special focus on Golf overseeing the strategic planning organisation and execution of all sports programs and events The Sports Manager - Golf will be responsible for the following Develop and manage the annual calendar of activities Conceptualise and execute innovative sports events and programs Oversee the development and maintenance of world-class sporting infrastructure Collaborate with internal departments Chairman s office legal procurement finance marketing PR communications to drive operational excellence Drive direct and indirect revenue across national and international sporting properties especially in golf Develop and execute best-in-class marketing strategies in collaboration with internal and external teams Stay informed on national and international sports news trends and developments Opportunity to work with a global leader in the industry Opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders The successful candidate will have the following Over 10 years of experience in sports management with a strong track record of delivering impactful brand consumer and sponsorship marketing strategies for live sporting events In-depth knowledge of key sports particularly golf Demonstrated experience working on national and international sporting events Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue and build partnerships Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Our client is one of the world s leading two-wheeler manufacturers with a strong global footprint Its dedicated sport division participates in and hosts international events and they are looking for a Sports Manager - Golf Opportunity to work with a global leader in the industry Opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders
