Job Overview We are seeking a Junior Level Pediatrics Neurologist Consultant for a full-time position in Mangaluru. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of experience in pediatric neurology. This role requires working closely with patients and a multidisciplinary team to deliver specialized neurological care for children. Applicants must possess strong clinical and collaboration skills. Qualifications and Skills - Pediatric Neurology (Mandatory skill) - Expertise in pediatric neurology is essential to provide specialized care in neurology for children. - Clinical Diagnosis - Strong skills to assess, diagnose, and manage neurological disorders in pediatric patients. - Electroencephalography - Proficiency in performing and interpreting EEG tests to evaluate neurological conditions. - Patient Counseling - Effective communication skills for counseling pediatric patients and their families about medical conditions and treatments. - Multidisciplinary Collaboration - Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. - Neuroimaging Interpretation - Skilled in analyzing neuroimaging results to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions. - Case Management - Competence in managing and coordinating long-term treatment plans for pediatric neurological cases. - Medical Documentation - Proficient in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records of diagnoses and treatments provided. Roles and Responsibilities - Conduct detailed assessments and examinations in pediatric neurology to diagnose and treat disorders in children. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to devise comprehensive and individualized care plans for pediatric patients. - Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as electroencephalograms and neuroimaging studies to support clinical findings. - Provide clear and compassionate counseling to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care. - Initiate and manage treatment protocols and continuously evaluate patient progress and outcomes. - Engage in case management to ensure continuity and quality of care for pediatric patients with complex neurological needs. - Keep up-to-date and accurate medical documentation, adhering to regulatory and ethical standards. - Maintain knowledge of the latest research and advancements in the field of pediatric neurology to deliver evidence-based care.
