Designation/Role: Senior Engineer/ Tech Lead (Java) Experience – 6+ Yrs Location – India - Pune Job Description: - Develop and maintain fintech applications using Java (Spring Boot) - Design and implement secure RESTful APIs for financial transactions and data services - Collaborate with product managers and analysts to translate financial workflows into technical solutions - Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.G., PCI DSS, GDPR) - Optimize performance for high-volume, low-latency systems - Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and DevOps practices - Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels management. - Ability to build rapport and relationships. - A record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual. - Problem solver and solution-seeking approach. Required Skills & Experience: - 6+ years of experience as Java Developer - Strong backend expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Multithreading, Rest API, RESTful web services, SQL - Experience with JDK Migration, Spring Migration, - Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.G., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Qualifications: - A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline. - Ability to communicate effectively across multiple audiences, including firm-wide business units, senior leaders, associates and clients. - Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. - Strong planning and organizational skills Opus Technologies focuses on shaping the future of payments technology.
