When a new piece of software is being developed or a bug being fixed, the QA Engineers are part of the process from start to end. We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the product team and focus on deploying and following engineering best practices. Our distributed team has a broad scope and balanced mix of levels so there's plenty of room to teach and learn. Responsibilities - Analyzing bugs and issues reported by clients and internal teams. - Investigate, reproduce, and debug problems to identify their root causes - Collaborate with development, product, and support teams to ensure issues are correctly assigned, prioritized, and resolved efficiently. - Work directly with data sources (e.g., Parquet files, MongoDB, SQL databases) to validate and cross-check reported issues. - Use Postman and other tools to test and analyze APIs when investigating bugs. - Follow up on open incidents and ensure clear, structured communication until resolution. - Propose solutions or workarounds when possible to minimize client impact. - Analyze recurring issues to identify trends and suggest improvements to prevent future problems. - Define and maintain KPIs and quality metrics to provide visibility on product stability and bug management. - Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights, proposing process enhancements, and promoting a culture of quality.
