Job Title: Sales Executive / Business Development Manager - Flavors & FragrancesLocation: Mumbai, Maharashtra, IndiaJob Type: Full-Time (B2B Sales)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business development and managing client relationships within the flavor and fragrance (F&F) industry. This B2B role requires a strong understanding of customer needs and market trends to effectively promote our innovative flavor and fragrance solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development: Drive B2B sales across the assigned territory by acquiring new clients and identifying potential business opportunities.Account Management: Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and grow 'wallet share'.Technical Consultation: Understand customer requirements and collaborate with our technical (perfumery/flavorist) team to provide tailored solutions and samples.Market Intelligence: Provide regional market insights, track competitor activities, and inform business planning and product development teams of emerging trends.Sales Strategy & Reporting: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, manage contract negotiations, and maintain accurate records of pricing and sales activities.Product Knowledge: Maintain updated knowledge of product launches, share product information with customers, and conduct product presentations.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Proven B2B sales experience in the fragrance, flavors, aroma chemicals, cosmetics, personal care, or related chemical industry is highly preferred.Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.Technical Acumen: Strong techno-commercial acumen and an interest in the technical aspects of flavors and fragrances.Networking: Strong networking skills and a proven ability to build relationships with R&D, procurement, and marketing teams of client companies.Work Ethic: Highly motivated, with excellent time management skills and a willingness to be in the market to meet clients (up to 80% of the time).Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PPT) and experience with CRM systems.More information about this Business Development Manager JobPlease go through the below FAQs to get all answers related to the given Business Development Manager jobWhat are the job requirements to apply for this Business Development Manager job position?
