Our vision for the future is based on the idea that transforming financial lives starts by giving our people the freedom to transform their own We have a flexible work environment and fluid career paths We not only encourage but celebrate internal mobility We also recognize the importance of purpose well-being and work-life balance Within Empower and our communities we work hard to create a welcoming and inclusive environment and our associates dedicate thousands of hours to volunteering for causes that matter most to them Chart your own path and grow your career while helping more customers achieve financial freedom Empower Yourself This position will design document implement and support the SAP Policy Management FS-PM and SAP Claims Management FS-CM modules ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist in the gathering documentation and analysis of system and business requirements for complex multiplatform applications Monitors and reviews the work of lower-level staff within assigned projects Perform functional configurations perform unit testing coordinate integration testing support user acceptance testing and resolve issues reported during hyper-care Efficiently coordinate with other technical teams ABAP Security Basis Batch support Configures and customizes multiplatform SAP application modules Seeking guidance from the assigned Technical Leader immediately if doubt exists Develops and executes test plans for the most complex SAP application modules Troubleshoots problems and recommends modifications to systems leadership and key stakeholders Ensure delivery satisfies the system and business requirements Has some exposure in how the SAP Financial Suite integrates between different suite modules to include feeds to the SAP FI module Troubleshoot reported system issues and resolve the issues as per priority levels Train and mentor less experienced SAP analysts Function as a resource for colleagues with less experience Complete critical complex project tasks within defined milestones Make recommendations for project resource requirements to project managers and or systems leadership Maintains requirements documentation project tracking and key stakeholder reporting metrics Work as on-call support on rotation basis Suggest process and system improvements QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Systems or Business or equivalent experience Minimum of 4 years relevant SAP experience Hands-on configuration experience required and required for this position Exposure to implementation of new SAP enhancements and conversions The primary function of this role is to support the ongoing FS-PM and FS-CM support and implementation in the system Will serve as subject matter expert for the SAP for Financial Services Policy Management and Financial Services Claims Management modules after full implementation is completed Has some background in Integration with SAP Collections and Disbursements for Insurance FS-CD and Integration with a background in Annuity payment processes This position acts independently within assigned areas regarding SAP configuration and solution design Must be able to work with third party Vendors and address deficiencies immediately and follow through with fixes Must be able to document and evaluate every test case for detailed unit regression testing and be able to discuss and have awareness of each phase of implementation This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties responsibilities and qualifications of the job The employer has the right to revise this job description at any time You will be evaluated in part based on your performance of the responsibilities and or tasks listed in this job description You may be required perform other duties that are not included on this job description The job description is not a contract for employment and either you or the employer may terminate employment at any time for any reason We are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity All individuals regardless of personal characteristics are encouraged to apply All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age race color national origin ancestry sex sexual orientation gender gender identity gender expression marital status pregnancy religion physical or mental disability military or veteran status genetic information or any other status protected by applicable state or local law
