So, if Innovation is close to your heart this is the place for you BMC is looking for a QA Engineer to join a QE team working on complex and distributed software, developing test plans, executing tests, developing automation & assuring product quality. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: - Design and develop robust, scalable automation for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing. - Define and enforce automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines across teams. - Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated test scenarios. - Collaborate with DevOps to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines. - Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve automation processes. - Contribute to test data management, environment setup, and automation reporting. - Analyze test results, identify root causes and ensure high product quality and reliability. - Contribute to automation strategy to reduce manual testing efforts and accelerate releases - Maintain documentation for automation processes and test cases. To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: - 6+ years of experience in software testing and automation. - 4+ years of experience in QA automation role. - Strong knowledge of AI/ML testing methodologies, model evaluation metrics, and data pipeline testing - Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, RestAPI similar. - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages - Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). - Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Working knowledge of databases and SQL (Structured Query Language). - Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI. - Background in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills: - Test Automation experience, Scripting skills (preferably Robot Framework, Python etc.) - Performance testing (Scalability, benchmarking, Load) frameworks, such as JMeter, etc. - Agile methodology - Jenkins CI Our commitment to you BMC's culture is built around its people.
