Job Description Job Title: Academic Counselor Company: Fly2Infinity Education Consultancy Location: Siliguri Job Type: Full-Time About The Role Fly2Infinity Education Consultancy is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Academic Counselor to join our team. The role involves conducting seminars in schools, counseling students about undergraduate courses after 12th, and guiding them through the college selection and application process. Key Responsibilities - Conduct seminars and presentations in schools to promote undergraduate programs and drive student engagement. - Counsel students and parents regarding various courses, universities, career paths, and admission timelines. - Assist students with college application processes, including form filling, documentation verification, and submission follow-up. - Maintain regular follow-ups with students to ensure smooth progress in their admission journey and improve conversion rates. - Build and maintain relationships with school authorities, career coordinators, and academic institutions; act as a university liaison when required. - Coordinate outreach activities, campus visits, and information sessions; support event planning and logistics. - Track leads and student data using CRM or student information systems; prepare reports on outreach and admission outcomes. - Stay updated with the latest education trends, undergraduate courses, admission procedures, scholarship opportunities, and visa/immigration basics for study abroad pathways. Requirements - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in education, counseling, psychology, or related discipline preferred. - Proven communication and presentation skills with comfort speaking to groups of students and parents. - Experience or demonstrated interest in student counseling, admissions advising, or education consultancy. - Familiarity with undergraduate program structures, subject streams after 12th (Science, Commerce, Arts), and university admission criteria in India and popular study-abroad destinations. - Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot) or willingness to learn student information systems; strong MS Office / Google Workspace skills. - Organisational skills with attention to documentation, deadlines, and application tracking. - Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, problem-solving, and the ability to influence and guide decision-making. - Willingness to travel regularly for school seminars, events, and outreach activities. - Fluency in English and local language(s) preferred; additional languages advantageous. - Target-driven approach with the ability to meet outreach and admission conversion targets; experience in lead generation and follow-up is a plus.
