About the Company We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead a team handling end-to-end accounting services for our UK-based clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts finalization, AP/AR, client communication, and team leadership, with hands-on knowledge of UK accounting standards and compliance requirements. About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead a team handling end-to-end accounting services for our UK-based clients. Responsibilities - Oversee the finalization of accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review, and month-end/year-end closing. - Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions – invoice processing, payment runs, and receivables follow-ups. - Serve as the primary point of contact for UK clients, ensuring timely resolution of queries and maintaining excellent client relationships. - Lead and mentor a team of accountants; conduct performance reviews, training, and workload planning. - Ensure all financial processes comply with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations. - Prepare and review financial reports, management accounts, and VAT returns. - Work closely with internal and client-side stakeholders to implement process improvements and automation where possible. - Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and service-level agreements. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CA Inter/CMA preferred). - 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role. - Hands-on experience with UK accounting standards and VAT compliance. - Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or NetSuite. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage UK client relationships effectively. - Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to handle multiple clients/projects simultaneously. Required Skills - UK client handling experience in an outsourcing or BPO environment. - Certification in Xero or UK VAT compliance. - Experience in implementing financial automation tools or workflow enhancements.
