Job Description: Cloud Coding Engineer Role: Cloud Coding Engineer Type: Freelancing / Contract Location: Remote About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Coding Engineer to work on building, optimizing, and evaluating cloud-based applications and workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong coding experience, hands-on cloud expertise, and the ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to cloud automation and development initiatives. Key Responsibilities ● Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using modern programming languages. ● Work with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) to build scalable, high-performing solutions. ● Develop automation scripts for cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration. ● Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, security, and cost efficiency. ● Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based projects. ● Collaborate with DevOps, product, and engineering teams to implement cloud best practices. ● Perform code reviews, ensure coding standards, and maintain high-quality codebases. ● Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for cloud environments. ● Support cloud migration projects and modernization efforts. ● Document architecture, workflows, and technical processes clearly. Required Qualifications & Skills ● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. ● Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Python, Java, Go, Node.js, or C#. ● Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS / Azure / GCP). ● Experience with cloud services such as compute, storage, networking, IAM, and serverless. ● Proficiency in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). ● Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools. ● Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. ● Ability to write clean, optimized, and maintainable code. ● Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). ● Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills ● Experience with cloud security best practices. ● Knowledge of cloud cost optimization. ● Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog). ● Exposure to AI/ML cloud services is a plus.
