Key Responsibilities Modular MEP Design and Engineering - Design and develop integrated MEP systems for modular construction projects, ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations and standards. - Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for prefabrication, assembly, and installation of modular building services. - Create high-quality 3D MEP system designs in Revit/Fab CAD. - Coordinate with structural and architectural teams, ensuring smooth BIM integration, accurate model exchanges, and on-time delivery. - Lead modular coordination and clash detection in Navisworks. - Prepare HVAC shop drawings, ventilation and chilled water layouts, and perform duct & pipe sizing calculations. - Design MEP modular frames and prepare cut sheets for modular fabrication. Required Skills Modular Building Services Engineering - Strong technical skills in MEP design, with a comprehensive understanding of modular construction methods and processes. - Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM modelling software. - Effective communicator, able to articulate design concepts and technical information clearly to colleagues, clients, and suppliers. - Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple project priorities and meeting tight deadlines. - Adept at problem-solving, with the ability to troubleshoot complex design challenges and implement practical solutions. - Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, coordinated technical outputs. Qualifications & Experience MEP Engineering And Modular Design - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years experience in an MEP design role, ideally with exposure to modular or offsite construction projects. - Experience producing technical drawings, calculations, and documentation for modular building services systems.
