Description At Amazon we re working to be the world s most customer-centric company Driving innovation on behalf of customers is core to our mission This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most strategic impactful and fastest growing areas within Amazon This role requires one to be a self-starter with good business modeling skills keen attention to detail and good track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires good verbal and written communication skills The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on performance The candidate will need to have a proven track record for hiring developing and retaining the best talent Key job responsibilities Develop and improve forecasting models using data collection data analysis and statistical tools Create optimal capacity plan for Finance Operations business by managing trade-offs between Customer Experience and Cost Effectiveness Coordinate with Operations and Finance teams to analyze historical data and demand forecasts and build out headcount planning models for future growth Mitigate capacity risks by managing dependencies across multiple operational teams and sites Clearly communicate dependencies and manage track exceptions with Senior Management Manage the daily weekly and monthly reporting of capacity performance in each site via Key Performance Indicators Project management skills are required for success in this role Guide recruitment retention staff training and performance reviews Lead cross functional systems and process improvement initiatives Basic Qualifications - Experience analyzing data and creating reports for leadership - 8 years of FP A or related analytical field experience Preferred Qualification - 4 years experience in Capacity planning Work force management experience - Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software e g Excel is a must - Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience building complex models using various statistical tools for optimization and then communicating plans or risks accordingly - Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads Preferred Qualifications - Big 4 experience and or equivalent audit business controls experience Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process including support for the interview or onboarding process please visit for more information If the country region you re applying in isn t listed please contact your Recruiting Partner
