Job Description We're on the hunt for a General Manager to lead our little slice of paradise here at Soul Vacation (soulvacation.in). What You'll Be Doing: - Leading the Vibe: You'll be the heart of our team, providing strategic direction and fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere. Think of yourself as the captain of our ship, steering us towards smooth sailing and good vibes. - Crafting Guest Magic: We want every guest to leave feeling like they've found their happy place. You'll be the maestro behind creating exceptional experiences, ensuring every detail is spot-on. - Creating the Blueprint (SOPs): You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments. Ensuring consistency and efficiency in our service delivery, while still keeping our unique soul. - Maximizing the Good Stuff (Revenue): You'll be the brain behind our revenue strategies, finding creative ways to fill our rooms and keep the good times rolling. Knowing your way around the complexities of distribution for small hotels is a must. - Running the Show: From front desk smiles to spotless rooms and delicious food, you'll oversee all operations, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled (and relaxed) machine. - Keeping the Books Balanced: You'll manage budgets and forecasts, keeping a watchful eye on expenses without losing sight of our soul. - Spreading the Soul Vacation Love: You'll develop and implement marketing strategies, building relationships with guests and partners, and making sure everyone knows what Soul Vacation is all about. - Building a Dream Team: You'll be responsible for HR, ensuring we have the right people in the right places, and fostering a happy, motivated team. - Keeping it Real (Risk Management): You'll identify and mitigate any potential risks, ensuring our little paradise stays safe and sound. What You Bring to the Table: - A genuine passion for making a mark in the hospitality sector. - At least 5 years of experience working in boutique hotels (smaller, independent hotels, preferably 4-star) you get the charm and the challenges. - You know and enjoy sales, and understand the intricacies of distribution for small hotels. - A love for solving problems and an open mind we're all about learning and growing. - Proven track record of success in hotel management. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure. - *BONUS* experience in organizing/selling retreats Ready to join the Soul Vacation family If you're ready to bring your unique blend of passion and expertise to our team, we'd love to hear from you.
