Senior SAP ABAP Developer – Global FMCG About the Role We are supporting a major global food manufacturing organisation in hiring a Senior SAP ABAP Developer (ABAPer) for a 6-month contract. This role sits within a large-scale PR/PO invoice transformation programme and requires a developer who is comfortable operating in a complex, multinational SAP environment. You will work closely with global process owners, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver high-quality ABAP development, ensuring smooth integration and performance across a sophisticated SAP landscape. Key Responsibilities - Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions within the PR/PO invoice workstream - Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones (US, EU, APAC) - Support functional colleagues with technical feasibility, solution design, and troubleshooting - Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best-practice development standards - Work within a structured programme environment with clear sprint deliverables Essential Experience - Senior-level SAP ABAP (7+ years) with deep expertise in core development tools - Strong hands-on experience with Reports, Enhancements, Interfaces, User Exits, BAPIs, BADIs, and Forms (SmartForms/Adobe) - Proven background working on global SAP programmes within large enterprises - Experience supporting PR/PO, invoicing, procurement, or finance-related SAP processes - Strong communicator with the ability to work effectively across global teams - Comfortable working autonomously and driving workstreams to completion Contract Details - Length: 6 months (with potential extension) - Start: February 2026 - Location: Remote with cross-time zone collaboration
