This platform serves as the backbone for multiple feature teams, enabling them to define, evaluate, and deliver alerts seamlessly to end users. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design scalable alert evaluation pipelines, build flexible notification workflows, and ensure reliable, low-latency communication across channels. Must-Have Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer in a product-focused development environment. - Strong system design skills with emphasis on extensibility, scalability, and abstraction. - Proven platform mindset - ability to build reusable components and frameworks serving multiple teams. - Advanced problem-solving and debugging capabilities across distributed systems. - Solid understanding of on-call operations and incident management best practices. - Strong collaboration skills with a sense of ownership and accountability (agency-oriented mindset). - Excellent technical documentation and communication habits. Technical Expertise - Hands-on experience developing and debugging JVM-based or Go applications (We heavily use Kotlin for backend). - Experience in microservice-based, event-driven architectures using modern frameworks and messaging systems (Kafka, Pulsar, etc.). - Familiarity with observability stacks (metrics, logs, traces) and alerting systems is a plus.
