We're looking for a seasoned Operations Manager to join our team and oversee the seamless management of our warehousing operations. Key Responsibilities - Warehouse Operations Management - Oversee day-to-day operations in the warehouse, ensuring a smooth flow of inbound and outbound logistics. - Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch. - Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics like throughput, order accuracy, and inventory turnover. - Vendor Management - Manage relationships with warehousing & logistics partners, suppliers, and other third-party vendors. - Client Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring timely resolution. - Understand client requirements and align warehouse operations to meet their SLAs (Service Level Agreements). - Regularly provide clients with operational insights and updates through performance reports and review meetings. - Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement - Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. - Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. - Team Leadership & Training - Lead a team of warehouse supervisors, associates, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. - Develop and implement training programs to upskill the team on SOPs, safety protocols, and the use of warehouse management systems (WMS). - Monitor and manage staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and handle employee grievances. - Data Analysis & Reporting: - Utilize MS Excel for data analysis, inventory tracking, and generating detailed reports. - Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on warehouse operations, KPIs, and cost management. - Use data-driven insights to forecast demand, manage capacity planning, and ensure optimal stock levels. Required Skills & Qualifications - Educational Background: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field. - Experience: - Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations. - Proven track record in managing end-to-end warehouse operations, vendor relationships, and client coordination. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and inventory management (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced functions). - Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP software, and other supply chain management tools. - Strong understanding of logistics workflows, inventory control, and transportation management. - Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to manage challenges in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
