No of positions open 1 1)Shift timings: 3:30pm to 12:30am IST (Pan India) Location: Remote/(Work from home) Job Type: Fulltime (Syntax systems) Job Description: What is a Data Migration Analyst? A Data Migration Analyst plays a crucial role in facilitating the seamless transition of data from one system to another. They are responsible for creating and executing scripts for data transformation and validation, conducting load simulations and migrations, and ensuring that all technical issues are resolved promptly. This role involves working closely with other analysts, developers, functional teams, and clients to understand requirements, develop scripts that map source data to target data, validate data integrity, and utilize tools like the Migration Cockpit for efficient data transfer. The Data Migration Analyst also helps resolve issues during migration and provides support to ensure project success and client satisfaction. Roles and Responsibilities - Create and execute scripts for data transformation and validation that map source data to target data. - Conduct load simulations and migrations to ensure data accuracy and security. - Collaborate with other analysts, developers, the functional team, and the client to address and adjust any issues or discrepancies. - Document all data migration activities thoroughly and ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines. - Participate in regular status meetings with project stakeholders to report on progress, issues, and resolutions. - Identify potential project blockers and support the implementation of solutions to mitigate risks. Qualification - Bachelor's or Master’s degree in STEM, Business, or a related field (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is a plus) - 4+ Years of Strong proficiency in SQL and (Python would be plus) - Optional: Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, SAP Datasphere - Strong team collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with others - Excellent interpersonal skills - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French (*This is a requirement since in this role you will be dealing with customers, partners and/or our international subsidiaries requiring communication in English and French on a recurring basis both verbally and in writing)
