Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedNetwork Engineerwith hands-on experience inRouting and Switchingto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Cisco Nexus switches, ASR1000/ASR9000 routers, and routing protocols such asBGPandOSPF. The role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, strong communication in English, and the ability to work in a24x7 support environment. Key Responsibilities: - Manage, configure, and maintain Cisco network infrastructure, includingNexus switches,ASR1000, andASR9000series routers. - Implement, monitor, and troubleshootLayer 2 and Layer 3 network services. - Support and optimize routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, STP, and QoS policies. - Perform proactive network health checks, capacity planning, and performance analysis. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex network issues. - Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and change management activities. - Provide24x7 operational supporton a rotational roster basis, including incident response and on-call support. - Maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 34 yearsof hands-on experience in network operations or engineering. - Strong knowledge ofRouting & Switchingconcepts and configurations. - Practical experience withCisco Nexus,ASR1000, andASR9000platforms. - In-depth understanding ofBGP, OSPF, and related network protocols. - Familiarity withIPv4/IPv6,MPLS, andQoSwill be an added advantage. - Excellenttroubleshootingandanalyticalskills. - FluentEnglish communication skills(verbal and written). - Flexibility to work in a24x7 rotational environment. Preferred Certifications: - Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)or equivalent certification preferred. - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)mandatory or equivalent practical knowledge. - Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) is good to have.
