Chief Product and Technology Officer

Job Description Founding Head of Product & Technology We are hiring a Founding Head of Product & Technology to lead engineering, product, design, and AI development for a confidential early-stage SaaS platform built for a highly structured and regulated domain. The role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strong product vision, and the ability to build complex systems from scratch while ensuring reliability, accuracy, and security. Key Responsibilities 1. Product and Workflow Ownership 2. Lead the entire product lifecycle including research, requirement analysis, flow mapping, specifications, prototypes, and deployment. 3. Translate complex, rule-based domain workflows into simple and structured digital user journeys. 4. Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction documents, and technical product specifications. 5. Ensure consistency, accuracy, reliability, and audit-friendly behavior across the platform. 6. Technical Architecture and Engineering Leadership 7. Architect the full SaaS platform including frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure. 8. Build scalable, modular, multi-tenant systems using modern API-first and microservices approaches. 9. Lead development across React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and supporting backend frameworks. 10. Design and manage cloud environments on GCP, Firebase, Azure, or equivalent platforms. 11. Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment flows, event-based systems, and role-based data structures. 12. AI, NLP and Automation Systems 13. Integrate AI components for tasks such as classification, extraction, summarization, reasoning support, and workflow optimization. 14. Work with LLM orchestration, vector databases, embedding pipelines, OCR, document parsing, and automated model evaluation. 15. Design model gateways, prompt systems, and logic layers for safe and controlled AI output. 16. Security, Compliance and Reliability 17. Implement secure architecture: encryption, access control, auditing mechanisms, activity logs, and data integrity systems. 18. Ensure readiness for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and national data protection regulations. 19. Create systems for monitoring, redundancy, error tracking, quota limits, and data protection. 20. UX and Design Execution 21. Design user journeys that support multi-role usage and complex workflows in a clean and structured manner. 22. Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system using Figma. 23. Ensure the interface emphasizes clarity, accessibility, predictable interactions, and trust-oriented behavior. 24. Team and Culture Building 25. Recruit and mentor engineers, designers, AI specialists, and analysts. 26. Set engineering guidelines, code review frameworks, sprint processes, and quality standards. 27. Establish a culture of precision, responsibility, and iterative improvement. 28. Product and Technology Strategy 29. Define long-term product and technology roadmaps including architecture, AI systems, automation layers, and platform modules. 30. Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable milestones. 31. Collaborate directly with the founding team to align product direction with business and user needs. What We're Looking For 1. Technical experience of 5 to 12+ years in full-stack engineering and product leadership, preferably in SaaS, workflow-heavy systems, or AI-driven applications. 2. Strong expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and API-first development. 3. Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Firebase, or Azure. 4. Experience designing Firestore, PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar database structures. 5. Experience deploying AI features into production, including embeddings, vector search, LLM pipelines, and document parsers. 6. Strong understanding of secure system design, encryption, access control, and compliance-aware architectures. 7. Product and design skills, including UX thinking, structured workflow design, and proficiency with Figma. 8. Ability to convert complicated domain logic into simplified, reliable digital flows. 9. Experience with workflow engines, rule-based systems, or automation platforms. 10. Leadership skills, including founder-level ownership, ability to operate in fast-moving early-stage environments, cross-functional communication, and the ability to build teams from the ground up.
