Job Title Data Engineer Location TechM Blr ITC06 07 Years of Experience 7 10 Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with extensive experience in Big Data management to join our dynamic team The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures that support our data driven decision making processes You will work closely with data scientists analysts and other stakeholders to ensure that our data infrastructure meets the needs of the organization Responsibilities Design develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest process and store large volumes of data Implement and manage Big Data technologies such as Hadoop Spark and Kafka to support data processing and analytics Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs Ensure data quality integrity and security throughout the data lifecycle Monitor and optimize data processing performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise Document data architecture processes and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Big Data and data engineering Mandatory Skills Proven experience in Big Data management and architecture Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or Scala Hands on experience with Big Data technologies including Hadoop Spark and Kafka Experience with data warehousing solutions and data modeling Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Skills Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes Experience in Agile methodologies and project management Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field 7 10 years of experience in data engineering or a related role Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment If you are passionate about data and have the skills to drive our data initiatives forward we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity Tech Mahindra represents the connected world offering innovative and customer-centric information technology experiences enabling Enterprises Associates and the Society to Rise We are a USD 4 9 billion company with 121 840 professionals across 90 countries helping over 935 global customers including Fortune 500 companies Our convergent digital design experiences innovation platforms and reusable assets connect across a number of technologies to deliver tangible business value and experiences to our stakeholders Tech Mahindra is the highest ranked Non-U S company in the Forbes Global Digital 100 list 2018 and in the Forbes Fab 50 companies in Asia 2018
