Job Title: - Procurement Engineer Location: Jhagadia Qualification - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience - 3–4 years of experience in procurement, purchase, and service contract management, preferably in an industrial or project environment. Job Summary The role involves end-to-end management of service procurement and contractual activities for engineering and project services. The candidate will ensure timely sourcing, compliance, and cost optimization while supporting project execution. Key Responsibilities - Procurement & Contract Management - Prepare and process purchase orders for engineering and project-related services. - Draft, review, and finalize service contracts ensuring compliance with company policies. - Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to achieve cost efficiency and timely delivery. - Vendor Coordination - Identify and onboard new vendors as per compliance requirements. - Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or payment. - Project Support - Collaborate with project teams to understand service requirements and timelines. - Monitor contract execution and ensure alignment with project schedules. - Compliance & Documentation - Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, vendor agreements, and statutory compliance. - Ensure adherence to internal audit and legal requirements. - Cost & Performance Monitoring - Track service costs against budgets and highlight variances. - Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements. Skills Required - Strong knowledge of industrial services and procurement processes. - Familiarity with SAP / ERP systems for purchase transactions. - Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple vendors and contracts simultaneously. - Basic understanding of contract law and compliance requirements. Proficiency in MS Office tools for reporting and documentation.
