BIM Architect

Position: BIM Architect Experience: - Min 2 years of architectural experience, with prior involvement in full-fledged Revit/BIM projects (Concept to GFC stage). - Experience with steel/PEB and sustainability-focused projects is a strong advantage. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Master’s Degree in Architecture Location: Ernakulam Role Summary: We are seeking a creative, sustainability-focused BIM Architect to play an active role in architectural design and Building Information Modelling (BIM). The role emphasizes climate-responsive design, sustainable architecture, integrating smart building technologies and innovative digital solutions, while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver accurate, coordinated, and high-quality deliverables within project timelines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Handle architectural design projects starting from Client briefing → Conceptual development → 3D modelling → Design development → Detailing. 2. Develop, maintain and update accurate 3D BIM models in Revit. 3. Preparation of GFC drawings in Revit, reviewing, and approving drawings as required. 4. Assist in resolving clashes and conflicts within the BIM models using clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks). 5. Add-on: Prior experience working with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform for Revit collaboration. 6. Integrate Climate-responsive and sustainable design explorations, cultural narratives, and regional expressions into architectural concepts. 7. Prepare compelling architectural presentations to communicate design intent to stakeholders. 8. Stay updated on site progress and effectively coordinate with execution teams. 9. Work efficiently on multiple interdisciplinary projects within defined deadlines and budgets. 10. Drive architectural research, including collecting product data from manufacturers & consultants. 11. Ensure sound understanding of industry standards and material feasibility. Skills: 1. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop (mandatory). 2. Add-on Soft skills: Rhino, Enscape, Lumion, Adobe Illustrator. 3. Integrated Sustainable Design + climate-responsive design explorations. 4. Creative conceptualization, narrative building & storytelling in architecture. 5. Strong research mindset; Contextual and Cultural design response. 6. Architectural sketching and visual diagramming ability; Strong communication and presentation skills. 7. High attention to detail; Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking ability. 8. Excellent interdisciplinary coordination (Structural + MEP integration). 9. Knowledge of statutory rules, building codes, Fire & Life Safety regulations, Universal accessibility standards. 10. Self-driven, proactive, collaborative, and deadline focused.
