About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated SEO/AEO Specialist to join our team and take ownership of driving organic growth through technical SEO, on-page SEO, and off-page SEO strategies. This role requires someone who is comfortable working with code, WordPress, and modern SEO tools to ensure our website ranks higher, earns quality backlinks, and increasingly features in AI-driven search answers. Key Responsibilities - Off-Page SEO - Build and manage a robust backlink acquisition strategy through outreach, partnerships, and content syndication. - Monitor backlink profile and disavow toxic links to maintain domain authority. - Leverage PR, guest posts, and thought leadership content for organic visibility. - Technical SEO - Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve crawl, indexing, and speed-related issues. - Optimize site structure, schema markup, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, robots.txt, and Core Web Vitals. - Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in new features, themes, and code releases. - On-Page SEO - Optimize meta tags, headers, internal linking, and content structure for better ranking and engagement. - Research and implement target keywords across landing pages, blogs, and product pages. - Ensure content is optimized for answer engines (AI-driven results like Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) with a focus on structured data and semantic search. Qualifications - 2-4 years of hands-on SEO experience (technical, on-page, off-page). - Strong understanding of WordPress and ability to troubleshoot technical issues. - Basic coding skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) to implement and debug SEO elements. - Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4. - Familiarity with AI search engines and answer optimization (AEO) is a strong plus. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
