Job Description The Regional Current Account Manager is tasked with executing the current account business strategy within the region. This role involves comprehensive engagement with branch, cluster, regional, and zonal leadership to successfully cultivate and sustain a profitable current account portfolio. The manager will provide essential product support to field teams, driving initiatives that enhance the Current Account Average Monthly Balance (CA AMB) and ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory standards. Key Roles: 1. Strategic Engagement: - Collaborate with cluster, regional, and zonal management to present progress against business objectives. - Build and sustain relationships with multiple stakeholders across branches and support teams. 2. Portfolio Development: - Responsible for expanding the current account book in the region. - Implement solution-oriented strategies to support field teams in cross-selling products like CMS, TFX, and Business Banking. 3. Performance Monitoring: - Track and analyze team productivity and daily business movements to optimize performance. - Maintain the quality of the current account business in line with organizational and regulatory guidelines. 4. Market Engagement: - Actively engage with branch leadership to promote the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) agenda. - Identify market needs and develop product features that cater to customer demands. 5. Stakeholder Management: - Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to align stakeholders on processes and systems. - Foster collaboration within the organization to drive the current account business strategy effectively. 6. Risk Management: - Ensure compliance with risk policies and regulatory guidelines within the business. - Monitor sourcing quality and address any discrepancies or customer issues that arise.
