About the company Breathe ESG is an AI-powered sustainability platform that helps companies centralise ESG data, automate reporting, and turn climate commitments into real action. We work with large and mid-market enterprise customers who need a serious, workflow-driven system for ESG and decarbonisation. About the role This is a full-time, on-site ESG Consultant role based in Bengaluru. The ESG Consultant will be responsible for working closely with clients to guide and support their sustainability strategies and ESG compliance efforts. Key responsibilities include analyzing sustainability data, advising on ESG reporting, drafting corporate sustainability policies, collaborating with internal teams to align strategies with policies, and conducting regular assessments of client ESG performance. The role also entails facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions and contributing to the continuous improvement of ESG practices. Qualifications - Bachelor's: Environmental Science, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field - Master's Preferred: MBA, MSc in Sustainability, Environmental Management - Professional Certifications (Preferred) – GRI Certified Training, SASB FSA, CFA ESG, GHG Protocol etc. - 2-4 years in ESG consulting, sustainability advisory / audit, or corporate sustainability - Client-facing consulting or advisory services experience - ESG reporting and disclosure preparation background - Environmental, social, or governance risk assessment experience Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills · ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, EU Taxonomy) · Data analysis tools (Excel, PowerBI, Tableau) · Carbon accounting methodologies and LCA principles · ESG rating agencies and methodologies · Sustainability reporting standards Soft Skills · Excellent written and verbal communication · Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities · Project management and attention to detail · Client relationship management abilities · Adaptability in fast-paced environment Industry Knowledge · Corporate governance principles · Environmental regulations · Climate-related financial risks · Social impact measurement · Human rights due diligence · Sustainable finance principles How to apply Share your CV at vanshika@breatheesg.com along with the cover letter
